We are just living life right now, nothing real big going on! Charlie and I were able to go up to Idaho and visit for a few days, and it got crazy trying to see everyone! Sorry sorry to those that we couldn't see. Of course I forgot the camera. Now Charlie, Larin and I have a cold and are coughing and lots of snot, it's definitely not fun here but hopefully we will get better quick. Charlie had his 6 month appointment and remembered the doctor this time, so he was NOT happy as soon as we walked into the exam room and he got really pissed off when we got to the vaccination room. No tricking this guy! He is 17.3 lbs and 27 inches tall, putting him in the 50th percentile for weight and 70th for height! No wonder my back and arms hurt at the end of the day. He has learned how to sit all by himself and can stand holding on to something if we put him there, and is trying his darndest to get around...that's all for now!

A Catch-Up

Yes, I have been bad updating...sorry! The little one finally got some professional pictures done and he behaved way better than expected, that is until he realized we were tricking him than he was pissed off!
SEE!!
We went up for a visit with the family and had a great time seeing everyone. I forgot to take pictures because I do stuff like that!! It is sad because he was having a good time with all the other kids but I don't realize I should've taken pictures until the moment is over. We are getting out to the pool as much as we can while it is still warm because Charlie is part fish I guess. We put him in his floaty and he kicks and swims off like 'thanks see ya later', and laughs when he gets splashed!
Larin got his raise and will be officially a Staff Sgt. next month, which is waaaay sooner than we thought so that is great and I am so proud of him! He is finally being able to come home at more appropriate times which is great for me when Charlie is driving me CRAZY (which NEVER happens, wink wink). Charlie is looking and acting more and more like his daddy everyday, and never fails to make me laugh! He is such a gabber he says mama, dada, and NO all the time, boy oh boy can't wait until he figures out what it means, and of course screams gibberish the rest of the time. When he wakes up he'll yell "MOMMMA" until I bring in a bottle. He has also learned kissy noises and thinks he is hilarious. All in all we are doing awesome and having fun down here in Utah!
Oh, so handsome...
You can see some reminiscent tears which is why I had to hold him!
These are him before he realized the flash going off.Thursday, August 20, 2009
How big is he?
Huge! Charlie had his doctor's appointment today and we found out how big he has grown. He is now 15.6lbs and 25.5 in. long and not very happy about getting his shots! I can't believe how grown up he looks and how smart he is getting. He still won't say Dada, but says mama all the time and has recently started to say No...already, not a good sign. Larin passed his Staff Sgt. boards with an amazing 149/150! I knew he would do great, and we can expect a his raise in 6 months, YAY for money! He had to do recruiting at the fair and Charlie and I got to visit him. Charlie was so excited to see his daddy and be outside. I got to eat tons of fair food and it was tasty. I have got too many pictures so deal with it!

Four months old!!!!
The wee one is now four months old! Charlie smiles all the time now and giggles, says mama, and just babbles! He can roll from his tummy to his back now too so we have to keep close watch on him. I can't believe it has been four months already! He still hasn't had a tooth break in yet but they are working on it, and he can't wait, he eyes dad and I when we are eating. He sits pretty well, still falls forward sometimes and loves to stand with help! Lots about Charlie on this post because there isn't much else going on in our lives right now, and he is so darn cute! His appointment isn't until later this month so I will post how huge he has gotten then. Larin has his staff Sergeant boards next week and I'm sure he will do grand, I have just been keeping the house work going and the little one alive and happy. Not much else important going on here are the pics of Charlie, and note once again how few he is smiling in, he is such a little turd it is so hard to catch his grin on camera, ugh!
The happiest time of day for him, FOOD!
He had to be tricked to get him smiling..the poohead.
His usual camera face, note how he looks exactly like his daddy(except for his lovely eyes from me)
So tall, and strong too!

4th of July weekend
Here are some pictures of our trip up to Idaho Falls for the fourth and Charlie's blessing. We didn't go to the fireworks because we didn't feel Charlie would like it and I had a pounding headache but we were able to see all of our families. We had the blessing at my parents house and had a BBQ afterward...not much else going on just glad to be back home and in the swing of things!
Happy Baby! This was just as we were starting out, he was not so happy after he realized it was a long ride!
Getting ready for church with daddy
Not so happy with mom putting a hat on him
Just got blessed and being so well behaved!
All in all it was a good trip but the boy was happy to be home, although you can't see it here! This is his "mom stop taking pictures" face!
