People ask me who I think Charlie looks like, of course if Larin was standing with me when people see Charlie they probably wouldn't. Here's Larin''s baby pic and one of Charlie so you can see what I see......
Crazy right?

Being a momma...
So I thought running around in Charlie's first week alive was crazy and when we got home it would settle down, those of you who are parents know this isn't the case! I seem so extremely busy I wonder how those with more than one get anything done, my hats off to all of you! Breastfeeding was really tough because Charlie seemed endlessly hungry so I began pumping and feeding him breast milk in bottles and he was still acting strange and crying and I started crying too, being so new to this I didn't know what to do. Lucky for me I have a patient husband who called up his mom, I don't know why I didn't think to since the woman had eight kids, and she recommended trying lactose free formula which has been helpful for other grandkids in the Harris clan (they are 25 grandkids by the way). It helped pretty quickly however switching so quickly from breast milk to formula caused poor little Charlie constipation but after a few rough nights he seems to have gotten the hang of pooping and eating and I'm much happier:) I also got a baby swing, and love it, it gives me a chance to get stuff done without having to be holding him while doing it. On a sad note Larin had to leave today for Warrior Leaders Course in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and won't be back until May 27th. I am sad that he is going to miss little Charlie because they change so much everyday it seems and of course I am going to miss him and all the help he is. Here are a few pics of this boy he is getting chubbier every second!! He was up to 7lbs 2oz. a full half pound from birth at his two week appointment!!
Life saving swing
Chubby cheeked little boy!
All in all though I am in love with this little boy and being a momma!!

Larry Charles Harris has arrived!!
So we were supposed to come to the hospital Thursday morning to be induced....supposed to. At 1:30 I woke up Larin by saying you won't believe what just happened, my water broke by itself. We got to the hospital by 2:30am and my contractions were one on top of the other, not fun! After verifying my water broke and getting hooked up I was dilated to 4cm, by the time I got an epidural I was 5cm (on a side note, I love epidurals) and it was about 4:30 by then and they left us to sleep. At 7 they came and checked me and the nurse looked at me and said your 9cm, I'll go call the doctor and we will give you a little bit to have the baby get down further and you are going to have your baby! We would've just arrived to be induced if Charlie hadn't decided to come on his own. The doctor showed up to deliver at 8 and after 15 minutes or so he was here! 6 lbs 10 oz and 18 1/2 inches, and he didn't cry at all! I'm feeling sore and tired but otherwise we are all doing great, and I am so glad our little boy is here!Getting cleaned offLook at his curly hair(from dad, definitely not me)6 1/2 hours of labor, not to bad!Proud daddy
